The exhibition “Sebald Variations” is a conversation between art and literature. It is based on the work and figure of German writer W.G. Sebald (1944-2001), author of fundamental texts of the change of century such as Rings of Saturnand Austerlitz. The Sebaldian world is now manifested in the work of contemporary artists and writers who are influenced by this author. This exhibition picks up the dialogue between Sebald and well-known guest creators such as Carlos Amorales, Susan Hiller, Taryn Simon, Trevor Paglen, Jeremy Wood and Andrea Geyer.

The exhibit is curated by the writer and cultural critic Jorge Carrión, who is also editor of the blog Sebaldiana, and Pablo Helguera, artist, cultural pedagogue and writer resident in New York.
