Blanca Bardagil

Writer and theatre director, she has created over a dozen works and has won the Ciutat d’Alcoi Theatre Prize.

Blanca Bardagil (Vic, 1988) holds a degree in Directing and Playwriting from the Institut del Teatre in Barcelona and completed her training for courses at the Obrador de la Sala Beckett. She has written and directed over a dozen works, prominently including Cuques at the Nau Ivanow, L’ànima de la nit at the Sala FlyHard, Satisfaction at the Sala FlyHard and, at the Pensión de las pulgas, Lamant de Diògenes (Brosquil Ediciones, 2010), which won the Ciutat d’Alcoi Theatre Prize in 2009 (Bròsquil), among others. Last season she directed Llibres per cremar, written by Amélie Nothomb, and she also wrote and directed Les cigonyes venen de Tailàndia. She also worked at TV3, forming part of the team of scriptwriters for the 1st season of Cites, a series by Pau Freixas.
