FiniTribe

FiniTribe is an electronic music group from Edinburgh formed in the mid-1980s by Chris Connelly, David Miller, Philip Pinsky, Simon McGlynn, Thomas McGregor and John Vick, and admired by top DJs such as Andrew Weatherall, Paul Oakenfold and Pete Tong. In 1986, they released the EP Let the Tribe Grow which included De Testimony, the legendary Balearic Beat anthem. This formed part of the compilation Balearic Beats Vol. 1 produced by DJ Pete Tong and today continues to be played on dancefloors the world over. FiniTribe was one of the leading groups of the 1989 acid house movement, known as The Second Summer of Love.

Today FiniTribe is a duo formed by two of its original members (David Miller and John Vick). They recently returned to live shows and have announced the release of a new album for 2017.
