With the title Women Writers in Catalan we present this catalogue containing a selection of 50 contemporary women writers that you must not miss, plus 10 classical women writers that you should know. The Raig verd publishing company, in collaboration with Barcelona City of Literature and the Association of Writers in the Catalan Language, is publishing this book in English and Catalan to help people get to know and understand literature in Catalan and some of the women who have helped create and build it. In this book you will find profiles in English and excerpts in Catalan and English of a selection of our literature that we hope will also help to transport talent and the works of our women creators.
