Occupied (Okkupert) is a dystopia based on an original idea of novelist Jo Nesbø. It questions the weak points of Western democracy, the foundations of which we take for granted, and plays with a fictitious idea that is very close to present-day European reality. In this episode, Norwegian Prime Minister Jesper Berg decides to put a stop to the gas and oil production supplying all of Europe, but the government drastically rethinks this policy when he is kidnapped and threatened by Russian terrorists.
