The fascinating story of the feminist writer Ursula K. Le Guin comes to the big screen for the first time. Best known for her transgressive science fiction and fantasy novels, the documentary offers a journey through her worlds, both the real and the fictional. Le Guin always remained firmly on the margin of respectable literature, but finally the excellence of her work forced the general public to accept fantasy literature. The voice of Le Guin and the reflections of major names from literature such as Margaret Atwood, Neil Gaiman, David Mitchell and Michael Chabon guide us through the discovery of a leading feminist author who expanded the limits of our imagination and inspired generations of women as well as other marginalised writers along the way.
Initial talk with Ian Watson, Laura Huerga.
