In Galicia, a festa rachada is an unbridled, exuberant, over-the-top party: This is how Kosmopolis 2025 comes to a close: with a real festa rachada to celebrate Galician culture.  

To begin, a recital from two key voices in contemporary Galician poetry: Yolanda Castaño, perhaps the author who has done the most to export Galician poetry around the world, and Ismael Ramos, one of the most interesting emerging talents. Two generations and two different ways of invoking the same language.  

And, finally, the untamed universe of one of the wildest artists on the contemporary Galician scene: Mercedes Peón and her performance Deixaas, based on her album of the same name. Accompanied by Ana Fernández and Mónica de Nut, and with an audiovisual collaboration from the dancer Janet Novas, Mercedes Peón’s live performances demolish any preconceived ideas. A sensory experience that combines tambourines and synthesizers with pianos and the real sounds of the shipbuilding industry, creating an auditory and visual landscape in which the memory of Galicia merges with the most vibrant modernity.
