Valeria Bergalli

Anthropologist, translator and editor, and founder of Minúscula, an exquisite independent publishing house that is a benchmark on the Spanish scene.

Valeria Bergalli (Buenos Aires, 1962) grew up in Argentina, Italy and Germany. She is living in Catalonia since the late eighties. She is a cultural anthropologist, translator and head of Minúscula, a publishing house founded in 1999 in Barcelona and from which she has helped to spread works of outstanding names of literature such as Victor Klemperer, Varlam Shalamov, Marisa Madieri, Annemarie Schwarzenbach, Anna Maria Ortese, Hans Keilson, Peter Bergounioux or Giani Stuparich.
