José Luis Farias has been creator and director of 3D Wire, the International Market for Animation, Videogames and New Media (Segovia, Spain) since 2009; creator and co-director of Bridging the Gap – Animation Lab (Valencia, Spain) in its two editions: creator and co-director of Bridging the Gap – Animation Lab Manila 2016 (Philippines); and creator and co-organiser of Movistar 360 Barcelona Virtual Reality Fest. Ambassador in Spain for the European Animation Emile Awards, he collaborates with various organisations and international events such as Proimágenes Colombia, CARTOON, Annecy, Cine Court Animé Roanne (France) and The Animation, Videogames and Comics Festival of Cuernavaca (Mexico). In turn he develops his skills as a producer through his production company Paramotion Films, which has worked in animated films, virtual reality, digital post-production and audiovisual training since the year 2002.
