Enric Farrés Duran

Through his creations, Farrés Duran constructs narratives in which reality and fiction come together and affect one another. His work is articulated around research processes and the possibility of making connections between different places, objects and circumstances. Farrés Duran speculates on hidden and unexpected relationships. Narrative, both oral and written, plays an essential role in these processes, and the information it provides is essential in approaching the process and the connections it establishes He lives and works between Barcelona and Palafrugell and his work has been on display in group exhibitions at Arts Santa Mònica and the MACBA and in individual exhibitions at the Reina Sofia Art Centre, the Antoni Tàpies Foundation and the Bòlit in Girona.
