Evening of poetry and music with Yolanda Castaño, Ismael Ramos and Mercedes Peón

Born in Mazaricos, Galicia, Ismael Ramos is the author of A parte fácil [The Easy Part] (Xerais, 2023; Las afueras, 2023, in Spanish; Angle, 2023, in Catalan), his first book of stories; and three collections of poems, Lixeiro [Lightweight] (Xerais, 2021; La Bella Varsovia, 2021, in Spanish), Lumes [Fires] (Apiario, 2017; La Bella Varsovia, 2019, in Spanish) and Os fillos da fame [The Children of Hunger] (Xerais, 2016). His poetry, translated into numerous languages and published in various international anthologies, articulates a profound look at rural life, uncertainty, and memory. He also works as a teacher and collaborates with media such as elDiario.es, where he periodically publishes reflections on politics, society, ecology, mental health, collective memory, and the millennial generation to which he belongs.
