Laura Llaneli

An artist and performer, recognised with an Art For Change subsidy in 2019, her creative projects explore sound.

Born in Granada, Laura Llaneli lives and works in Barcelona. She holds a degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s degree in Sound Art from the University of Barcelona. Her artistic career has been recognised with awards such as the Art For Change subsidy in 2019, the Miquel Casablancas Prize in 2018 and the Embarrat Prize in 2017, among others. She has presented her work in cultural venues in France, Croatia, Chile and Spain, among other places. As a performer, she has participated in festivals such as LEM 2019-2020, the Low-Tech-Music 2020 organised by La Virreina or the Tsonami IX in Chile. She is currently an artist in residence at Gràcia Territori Sonor and works in the Espai Salamina. She is also a member of Sons de Barcelona and the collective Nenazas.
