Literary translator and lecturer at the University of Barcelona, he is also a member of the Slavic Studies Seminar at Pompeu Fabra University. He is a member of the board of the Association of Catalan Language Writers (AELC), vice-president of the European Council of Associations of Literary Translators (CEATL), and has been a member of the Executive Committee of the Barcelona Culture Council. With a degree in Slavic Philology and a PhD in Linguistics, he has published around forty translations of narrative and theater works by authors such as Andrey Platonov, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Liudmila Petruixevskaia, Mikhail Lermontov, Serguei Dovlatov and Marina Tsvetaieva. In the academic environment, he has taught and continues to teach in the field of linguistics, translation and Russian literature. He received the Vidal Alcover Prize 2014 for the translation project of Petersburg, by Andrey Beli. He has recently translated into Catalan Crime and Punishment (La Casa dels Clàssics, 2021), Poor (Cal Carré, 2021) and Manyaga (Angle, 2021), by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, as well as I Love Russia by Ielena Kostiutxenko (La Segona Perifèria, 2024) o El gual de la guilla by Anna Starobinets (Mai Més, 2025).
