Llucia Ramis

Llucia Ramis Laloux, born in Majorca in 1977, studied Journalism in Barcelona, where she now lives. She contributes toEl Periódico, El Mundo, Ara, Time Out, El Estado Mental and the websites Catorze andFotlipou. She was editor-in-chief of the literary magazineQuimera, director and presenter of the TV programmeabout books Això no és Islàndia, and assistant coordinator of the Tendènciesculture supplement.

Her novel,Egosurfing (Destino), won the Josep Pla Prize in 2010, when she was also honoured by the Bartomeu Rosselló-Pòrcel prize of Obra Cultural Balear. In 2013, she was awarded the Time Out Creator Prize for her bookTot allò que una tarda morí amb les bicicletes (Columna/Libros del Asteroide). Her first published novelwas Coses que et passen a Barcelona quan tens 30 anys.
