Marcel·lí Bayer

Marcel·lí Bayer is a multi-instrumentalist and improviser; he plays all different types of saxophones, clarinets, flutes and small electronic instruments. With an intense and prolific career in the field of jazz and improvisation in the music scene in Barcelona, he is a member of the Seward and Tàlveg sound action collectives. He has participated in some 30 recordings, including Nonitz featuring Lee Konitz (Quadrant Records, 2011), 1680 (Discordian Records, 2014) and the recent La Filatura (self-published, 2021), recorded in an 800 m2 warehouse at the Konvent.0 creative space. He also teaches at the Taller de Músics.
