Lluís Marco (Badalona, 1946) has taken part in numerous theatre plays since he started acting in the 1980s. Among the most recent are Don Joan by Molière (directed by David Selvas), Zona Franca by David Desola (directed by Israel Solà), El somni d’una nit d’estiu by William Shakespeare (directed by Joan Ollé), Fum by Josep Maria Miró, Litoral by Wajdi Mouawad (directed by Raimon Molins), Quan despertem d’entre els morts by Henrik Ibsen (directed by Ferran Madico), MCBTH by William Shakespeare (directed by Àlex Rigola) and Quitt. Els irresponsables són en vies d’extinció by Peter Handke (directed by Lluís Pascual).
He has also worked in television, in series such as Hospital Central, Estamos ocupados, Cuéntame, Hispania, Las chicas de Oro, Los misterios de Laura, Dinamita and Ventdelplà. In cinema, he has collaborated with film directors such as Paco Baños, Benito Zambrano, Chema de la Peña, Xavier Manich, Marc Recha, Jesús Garay, Lluís Maria Guell and Carles Balagué. Furthermore, he has also dubbed the voice of actors such as Ben Kingsley in Oliver Twist (2005), Danny Devito in Big Fish (2003) and Geoffrey Rush in Elisabeth: la Edad de Oro (2007).
He received the Barcelona Theatre Critics Prize in 2008 for Soldados de Salamina and was nominated for the Butaca Prizes of 2011 for his performance in Copenhagen.
