Gemma Medina

Publisher and literary critic, she is editor in chief of the digital magazine La Lectora.

Born in Rubí, Gemma Medina earned an undergraduate degree in Catalan Philology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and a Master’s degree in Literary Theory and Comparative Literature from the same university. Later, she also earned a Master’s degree in Publishing from Pompeu Fabra University. After working for years in publishing, she is now a freelance proof-reader and editor and publishes articles and reviews in media outlets such as Núvol, Reduccions and La Directa. As a publisher, she has been involved with the digital magazine focused on literary criticism La Lectora and with the project Els papers díscols, which publishes poetry and images.
