Tamara Ndong

African-Catalan actress, graduate of the Theatre Institute of Barcelona, trained in dance, singing, and voice, she is also an action specialist.

The actress Tamara Ndong has trained with professionals including Thomas Richard, Nadia Beugré, Salvador Calvo, Andrés Corchero, Vicenta Ndongo, Luci Lenox, Albert Velasco, Enric Folch, Marta García Otín, and others. She has starred in productions like Amèrica, directed by Julio Manrique, for which she was nominated for the Best New Actress prize in the 2023 Butaca awards. Among other plays, she has also appeared in Nosaltres, which was directed by Ricard Solé at the National Theatre of Catalonia, Terra Baixa, directed by Roger Bernat and premiered at the Teatre Lliure in Barcelona, and GRRRLS, directed by Carlota Subirós.

In cinema, she has acted in several short films (for example Quatre trenta and Memòries de l’aigua), and also El día de mañana (Movistar+), El ministerio del tiempo (Netflix), Los herederos de la tierra (Netflix), and Mai neva a ciutat (Filmin). In 2020 she joined the Catalan company La Fura dels Baus, which is directed by Carlus Padrissa, with whom she worked, also in 2020, in La Pastoral at the Seine Musical in Paris, and NN (Nova Normalitat) at the IFEMA complex in Madrid. In 2021, she appeared in El caçador furtiu at the Konzerthaus in Berlin; in 2022, in Rec.1 at Utopia 126; and, in 2023, in SONS at the Ljubljana festival. Also in 2023, she has acted in Le congrés ne marche pas, a show by La Calòrica.
