Roser Cabré-Verdiell (Barcelona, 1982) is the author of the novels AIOUA (Males Herbes, 2022) and Que morin els fills dels altres (Males Herbes, 2025), and a multitude of stories that have appeared in anthologies such as Barcelona 2059 (Mai Més, 2021), Extraordinàries (Males Herbes, 2020), Estats alterats de la ment (Males Herbes, 2017), Deu relats ecofuturistes (Males Herbes, 2016) and Noves dames del crim (Llibres del Delicte, 2015). She has also participated in the literary creation magazine CARN DE CAP with the piece «On her city», and in the extraordinary edition of Branca entitled «Els coets venien com llagostes», made in collaboration with the CCCB on the occasion of Kosmopolis 21. Her story «Soc la llevadora», included in Extraordinàries, won the Ictineu Prize 2021, and the AIOUA won the Premi Finestres de Narrativa to the best novel in Catalan in 2022.
