Maddi Ane Txoperena

Maddi Ane Txoperena was born in Hendaya and presently resides in Lesaka. She combines her studies in Social Anthropology with her work as a journalist in the Basque Country department of the newspaper Berria. At the age of eight, she became interested in the world of oral poetry and has taken part in several bertsolari championships. She is also author of the novels Ene baitan bizi da (Elkar, 2020) and Ez erran inori (Elkar, 2022).
