2018 Programme

14 March | Frankenstein in the Anthropocene. Researchers Dehlia Hannah and Fernando Vidal explore the links between the novel Frankenstein by Mary Shelley and the reflections that accompany the concept of the “Anthropocene”.

3 April | Meeting with Orhan Pamuk.  The Turkish author, winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature 2006, Orhan Pamuk talks with journalist Pepa Fernández about his literary work and his professional career.

20 April | Travels in Sketches. Travel literature through graphic fiction. In the morning,  workshop on producing travel chronicles led by Jorge Carrión and Sagar. In the evening, presentation of the special “Viatges dibuixats” (Drawn Journeys) issue of Altaïr Magazine, by Pere Ortín and Mario Trigo, and meeting with American author Peter Kuper.

3 October | Meeting with Hanif Kureishi. Taking advantage of the presentation of his latest novel The Nothing, the British author Hanif Kureishi talks with writer Alicia Kopf.

20 November | Imperfect Futures. Conversation between Rachel Cantor and Joan Miquel Oliver. Presenter: Andreu Gomila.
