In times of post-truth, fact-checking is a journalistic tool for checking the authenticity of facts and figures used in speeches (above all political speeches), in the media and in other publications, with the aim of finding mistakes, inaccuracies and lies. How does fact-checking work? What tools can we use? What is the process before saying that a politician is lying or telling the truth? In this workshop we explain all the key aspects based on a real case and we debate disinformation and how to fight against it.
