Albert Forns (Granollers, 1982) is a journalist and contributor to various media outlets. As a writer he has published two novels – Jambalaia (2016) with which he won the Anagrama Prize, and Albert Serra (la novel·la, no el cineasta) (2013), which earned him the Documenta Award. He has also published the book of poetry Ultracolors (2013), inspired by the work of contemporary artists.
In the year 2016 he was selected by the platform Literature Across Frontiers (within the context of the European Union’s Literary Europe Live – Creative Europe programme) as one of the emerging voices on the European literary scene.
