Lawyer of Associated Scriptwriters of Catalonia, specialising in intellectual property rights and procedural law

Ignacio Monter Lázaro holds a degree in law from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) and is a lawyer specialising in intellectual property rights and procedural law. He worked at the Sol Muntañola & Asociados law company for nine years,  being responsible for the legal defence in Catalonia of the organisations AGEDI (Association for the Management of Intellectual Rights) and AIE (Association of Artists, Actors and Performers, Management Company). For over five years he  has been the lawyer of the GAC (Associated Scriptwriters of Catalonia), where he has been concerned with advising scriptwriters regarding author rights within the audiovisual context and, in particular, regarding the negotiation, revision and drafting of scriptwriting contracts.
