Yasmina Naji (Rabat, 1980) has a PhD in Political Science and Moral Philosophy from the Sorbonne IV University and a master’s degree in Publishing Consultancy. She is a publisher and, as a curator, has organised more than twenty individual and collective exhibitions with artists including Yto Barrada, Faouzi Laatiris, Kiluandji Kia Henda, Younès Rahmoun, Touda Bouanani, and Aida Muluneh. Yasmina Naji is also founder and director of the KULTE Centre for Contemporary Art & Editions, Rabat.

KULTE is at once an art gallery, publisher, contemporary art centre, and platform of independent cultural entrepreneurship, which aims to reconstruct the postcolonial history of the Maghreb in visual formats and at the cultural level. Its publications are an essential part of its artistic and cultural commitment. KULTE has collections that are specifically devoted to aesthetics, gender, and cinema, as well as a special one that is devoted to the writer and film director Ahmed Bouanani. It is currently recognised as one of North Africa’s most active publishing houses.
