Bernat Ruiz Domènech

Editor. He is director of the independent publishing company Apostroph and teaches at the Universitat de Barcelona and the Universidad Diego Portales in Santiago, Chile.

Bernat Ruiz Domènech (Barcelona, 1975) is an industrial designer from the Elisava Higher School of Design. After some years working in design, he worked in advertising from 2005 to 2007, and from 2008 to 2014, and from 2008 to 2014 he was editor of corporate publications at Abertis.

He is director of the independent publishing company Apostroph and also devotes part of his time to publishing consultancy. He has taught the Master’s degree in Digital Publishing of the IPECC-Universidad de Alcalá, and is currently lecturer on the Postgraduate diplomas in Bookselling and in Reading Recommendation, both at the Universitat de Barcelona. He also teaches a course for the Master’s degree in Publishing at the Universidad Diego Portales, in Santiago, Chile.
