Traduir Europa

According to a well-known saying of Umberto Eco, “the language of Europe is translation”—the Babelian richness that encompasses the creativity of all the languages in the continent and promotes knowledge of all literatures. Translating Europe means building permanent bridges to develop a cultural project that goes beyond borders. It means discovering little-known works and authors, understanding how a language is adopted, the willingness to accept and even love what we do not know; it means cultivating diversity, not excluding everything that unites us. This is the spirit that inspires the activities in this section of K15.
